A trip to the city

Yesterday i was out on a trip to the city for a day, and it was great as i ate the most amazing burger, found my dream Jo Malone fragrance and Selfridges even played my favourite Tame Impala track just to top everything off.

So to fit the practical yet freezing climate dress code, i opted for my classic vintage wash mom jeans, styled with my black velvet trench coat and sharp pinstripe blazer.

I love the layered, strong silhouette of the coat over the blazer, creating a polished, streamlined shape and polish whilst also helping to keep me warm. The subtle pinstripe pattern of the blazer incorporates a more striking, interesting element whilst also keeping with the casual nature of the outfit.
