Its Halloween. And that can only mean one thing. Well actually several things - leather, velvet, net and tulle textures rendered in only the darkest of colours and topped off with lashings of lace and mystery. And not forgetting those chunky flatforms!

So for my Halloween attire this year ( or rather for the remainder of the AW seasons since this Gothic trend is most certainly here to stay ) i took this equally as unique yet statement burgundy textured net top with the most intricate and interesting rose pattern to it and built most of my trusty black winter staples around it for the ultimate in styling for the dark side.

The punky leather skirt and oversized black coat give the outfit an overall more fitted and sophisticated silhouette inspired by the looks seen at Marc Jacobs AW16, whilst chunky suede platforms and a velvet choker add those darker touches.
